Jaeger LeCoultre Memovox Watches
At the SIHH 2010 held at Geneva, Jaeger LeCoultre announced the relaunch of its iconic masterpiece, Jaeger LeCoultre Memovox. The company made a bang with the return of not only one but two models of the classic collection. The original presence of the Memovox was recorded in 1950s when it revolutionized the watchmaking trends of the times.
The Jaeger LeCoultre Memovox was a composite mix of technology with stylish designs new for the 1950 era. It was a complete modern face for the existing timepieces of the period. Reflecting the styles of the bygone times, the brand launched the models with fresh vibes in 2010.
The two models launched: Jaeger LeCoultre Master Memovox and the Master Memovox International were the fresh impressions of the existing classical time pieces. The Jaeger LeCoultre Memovox was the first model incorporating the alarm function in the timepiece. The new models are equipped with calibre 956 being replacing the original automatic movement calibre 812.
Memovox: An Era Returns
Considered a highly aspired vintage timepiece collection, the Memovox exhibits the Jaeger Lecoultre tradition of delivering exceptional quality timepieces. Till date, there have been the evolution of many timepieces equipped with mechanical alarms but the Memovox timepiece is unique in its kind.

Like the other JL collections, the Memovox also comes in an international version enabling to change and read the time of 24 cities round the globe. The present limited edition is available in two versions: stainless steel and rose gold.
With a case size of 40 mm, the latest Memovox works on Jaeger Lecoultre in house developed automatic movement, calibre 958. The execution of the skilled craftsmanship is evidently visible in the sleek and modern patterns adoring the wristlets.
Being credited as the first automatic wrist watch housing the mechanical alarm function, the Memovox was designed initially for the international businessmen. The latest edition of the Memovox collection launched in the 2010 echoes the tradition of the classical timepieces of the 1960s in a modernized fashion.
